THREE CLIFFS THAT IS WORTH TO CLIMB. HERE THEY ARE!

Beginner: Belvedere Cliff. This is the best cliff for beginners because, besides its easy route, it offers incredible and unique views over Lake Garda. From both the bottom and the top of the routes you can admire the landscape and the underlying village of Torbole. 

Intermediate: This cliff is more difficult, for more skilled climbers. We suggest Calvario Cliff in Laghel. The approach is comfortable and you can walk there from the centre of Arco. The beautiful wall is vertical and it offers from sixth to eighth grade routes, if you want to face something harder. Anyway, it is perfect for families too as you can sunbathe in the morning. If you want to climb, we recommend going there in the afternoon as the wall is in the shade.

Advanced: For expert climbers, we suggests Massone, the most famous cliff of Arco. 

Actually it is good for intermediate climbers too, according to the sections, but what I like most are the most difficult routes, 9a+ in the Pueblo section. The strongest climbers of the world do love it. We like Massone cliff because there is always something new to do. It is so big and full of routes; You can go there for years and never get bored. 

The Pueblo cliff of Massone is outside the Outdoor Park Garda Trentino and for this reason you must face it carefully. 

Before facing any wall, consider your ability and the possible risks and never forget the necessary equipment. You see, you will fall in love with this place and you will feel a champions for a while!

Il Lago di Garda Trentino è la patria indiscussa dell’arrampicata sportiva. 

Tante sono le vie di ogni grado di difficoltà; dai principianti ai più esperti, qui ognuno può trovare la parete più adatta alle proprie caratteristiche.

Clima mediterraneo, panorami mozzafiato, pareti che sembrano destinate ad essere arrampicate! 

E non è un caso se questo luogo magico è uno dei più amati da tanti campioni internazionali che hanno addirittura scelto proprio questo territorio come sua “casa” per 365 giorni all’anno. 

Tante, tantissime le falesie che vale la pena di affrontare, ne abbiamo scelte tre su tutte, divise per difficoltà. 

Scopriamole insieme!

Livello Principiante: Falesia Belvedere. La falesia migliore per iniziare perché oltre a offrire itinerari per chi si è appena avvicinato a questo sport, vanta una vista mozzafiato e unica sul Lago di Garda, sia dalla base che dalla cima delle vie infatti si può ammirare il panorama e il paese di Torbole sottostante. 

Livello Intermedio: Come falesia per scalatori già esperti, ma ancora non di difficoltà estrema, c’è la Falesia Calvario a Laghel. L’avvicinamento è comodo e si può raggiungere anche a piedi dal centro di Arco, la parete è verticale e molto bella e offre vie dal sesto grado fino anche all’8a per chi vuole cimentarsi in qualcosa di più impegnativo, ideale anche per le famiglie. Chi vuole godersi il sole può andarci alla mattina, chi come me invece preferisce scalare un po’ più al fresco consiglio di andare al pomeriggio quando la parete va in ombra.

Livello Avanzato: per i più esperti, è Massone, falesia storica di Arco. 

In realtà va bene anche per un livello medio, in base ai settori. 

La cosa bella di questa falesia di Massone è che c’è sempre qualcosa di nuovo da fare, è così grande e piena di vie che ci si può andare per anni, senza mai annoiarsi.  

La falesia Pueblo di Massone, è fuori dall’Outdoor Park Garda Trentino e proprio per questa ragione, va affrontata con ancora più cautela ed attenzione. 

Queste falesie e gli itinerari al suo interno sono stati attrezzati da professionisti e vengono periodicamente controllati. 

Ma prima di intraprendere qualsiasi arrampicata, sappiate sempre valutare la vostra preparazione, i rischi e non dimenticate mai di attrezzarvi con tutto il necessario. 

Una volta considerato tutto ciò, non vi resta altro che innamorarvi di questo territorio e sentirvi anche solo per un istante, un po’ campioni come anche voi.

– Am Seeufer in Riva del Garda. Ein Picknick am Strand ist extrem romantisch. Die Strände Baia Azzurra in Torbole und Porfina sind nur einen Katzensprung von Porto San Nicolò oder Punta Lido in der Nähe des Zentrums von Riva entfernt. Stellt euch eine bestickte weiße Tischdecke, zwei Gläser Teroldego und einige Bruschetta mit rohem Salzfleisch und Trentiner Grana-Käse vor. Ideal für romantische Picknicks mit hohem sentimentalen Wert!

– Picknick mit Aussicht auf dem Monte Brione. Picknick und Sport sind eine gute Kombination aus Essen genießen und Kalorienverbrennen. Der Aufstieg zum Monte Brione ist immer eine unglaubliche Emotion. Von hier aus hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Gardasee, an klaren Tagen kann man sogar die andere Seite sehen und wenn das Picknick lange dauert, kann man einen unvergleichlichen Sonnenuntergang genießen. Ideal für ein Picknick am Monte Brione ist ein praktischer Stil, da man die eigenen Sachen im Rucksack mitnehmen muss. Bringt Fingerfood wie einfachen Toast mit geräucherter Forelle, Käse, der bereits in Quadrate geschnitten ist und vielleicht etwas energiegeladene Dro-Pflaumen mit, welche perfekt in Kombination mit Käse von der lokalen Berghütte sind.

– 50 Schattierungen von…Smaragdgrün: Picknick am Tenno-See. Eine tiefe türkisfarbene Perle im Grünen: Der Tenno-See ist der ideale Ort für eine leckere Pause inmitten der Natur. Hier kann der Korb nur das Salzfleisch enthalten. Man kann es roh, gerollt wie eine Roulade mit Alm-Ricotta-Käse und gehackten Bleggio-Nüssen probieren.

– Picknick mit Geschichte: im Castel Penede. Eingebettet in eine verfeinerte Atmosphäre auf den Ruinen dieser ehemaligen Burg des 13 Jh. Das Herrenhaus erlitt die Ereignisse im Zusammenhang mit dem Spanischen Erbfolgekrieg. Sie wurde 1703 von den Franzosen geplündert und zerstört und seitdem ist sie in Trümmer gefallen. Heute ist diese Burg jedoch ein idealer Ort für ein Picknick, das nach Geschichte riecht! Der Korb sollte hier einige Gerichte mit den berühmten Brokkoli von Torbole enthalten. Das ideale Rezept? Vielleicht ein salziger Kuchen mit einer Creme aus Brokkoli und Gardasee-Oliven!

Wir können noch das Schloss von Drena, den Rasen der Lizza auf dem Schloss von Arco, den Weg der Busatte-Tempesta, die Strände entlang des Flusses Sarca zwischen Arco und Dro erwähnen.

Jede Jahreszeit ist ideal für ein Picknick am Gardasee Trentino. Im Frühjahr, geben die Blüten leuchtende Farben, im Herbst kann man das Laub bewundern, im Sommer kann man im Mondlicht baden und im Winter wird an sonnigen Tagen das Leben im Freien zu einem echten Allheilmittel.

• Next to the lake. We know you love our beaches all year round. Baia Azzurra in Torbole, Porfina, close to Porto San Nicolò, or Punta Lido close to the centre of Riva. A picnic on the beach is so romantic. Imagine a white tablecloth, two glasses of Teroldego and bruschette with carne salada cruda and flakes of grana cheese. 

• Picnic with a view, on Monte Brione. First you have your picnic, then you burn calories. Monte Brione is a must. The view over Lake Garda is total – if the sun shines you are even able to see the opposite side of the lake and if you want to stay there longer you can enjoy an awesome sunset. Bring a backpack with you and put some god food into it: the finger food is ready! Sandwiches with smoked trout, already-cut cheese and some plums of Dro, the perfect combination with the malga cheese. 

• 50 shades of… emerald. Picnicking at Lake Tenno.A turquoise pearl in the green nature of Tenno. Here you must eat some carne salada, so try it raw or in a roulade with some malga ricotta and the walnuts of Bleggio! 

• Picnicking with history at Castel Penede. A rarefied atmosphere on the ruins of a castle built in 1200, a castle that endured the happenings of the War of the Spanish Succession. The French soldiers ransacked and destroyed it in 1703 and started deteriorating since then. Anyway, today the ruins of this castle is the perfect place for a legendary picnic. Your picnic basket must contain the broccoli of Torbole. The best recipe? A savoury pie with cream of broccoli and olives of Garda! Super yummy! 

• Royal Picnic: at the Castle of Arco. The green lawn of the Lizza seems to be an ideal place to relax on its fragrant and soft mantle admiring the historic center of Arco all around and the imposing Mount Brione in front of us. Here it will be very pleasant to sip a good glass of Trentodoc and taste some appetizers based on 0 km products at the foot of the castle! But this “royal” picnic will also allow you a nice invigorating walk to reach your destination. The path to the castle is in fact one of the most beautiful in all of Garda Trentino. The scent of olive trees will be there during this easy walk that from the historic center of Arco will make you climb through wonderful views (especially at sunset) to the ancient manor.

Any season is perfect for a picnic at Lake Garda Trentino. In spring, when the flowers show their bright colours, in autumn when the foliage gives its best, in summer – under the moonlight is even better – when you can have your bath in the lake and even in winter, when spending some time outdoor becomes a real panacea.

“Strandleben”. Allein die Absicht, es zu erleben, bringt Freude und Wohlbefinden! 

Bequem liegend sonnenbaden, vielleicht ein gutes Buch unter dem Sonnenschirm lesen, die Òra (den Wind des Gardasees) genießen, Aktivitäten für richtige Sportliebhaber wie Windsurfen oder weniger anspruchsvollen Sportarten wie Sup nachgehen. Egal was eure Lieblingsbeschäftigung ist, das Strandleben im Sommer (aber auch im Frühjahr an Orten wie dem Gardasee Trentino) ist gleichbedeutend mit Freude! 

DERSELBE STRAND…. DERSELBE SEE!

Das Strandleben ist oft mit dem Meer verbunden. Aber was euch am Gardasee überraschen wird, ist dass er wirklich ähnlich wie ein Meer aussieht, er hat aber auch eigene Besonderheiten, die ihn einzigartig machen. Zuallererst die Umgebung: Eine mediterrane Landschaft im alpinen Kontext mit Bergen, aber Gerüchen von Zitrone und Macchia. 

Diese Einzigartigkeit ist nicht das einzige Merkmal dieses märchenhaften Ortes. Die Vielfalt seiner Strände ist auch von großer Bedeutung.

DIE STRÄNDE DES GARDASEE 

Der Garda Trentino verfügt über bezaubernde und kilometerlange freie Strände mit zahlreichen Services. 

Die Strände von Riva del Garda, Torbole sul Garda, Arco und auch der smaragdgrüne Tenno-See (wenige Kilometer von Riva entfernt) eignen sich hervorragend zum Sonnenbaden, Entspannen im Schatten (es gibt schöne Bäume und verschiedene Erfrischungsstände, wo ihr am Strand Cocktails genießen könnt) und zum Sport. Dank der Verfügbarkeit von Duschen, Toiletten, Liegestühlen und Sonnenliegen könnt ihr einen ganzen Tag am Strand genießen, ohne etwas anderes zu benötigen. 

Im Wasser könnt ihr euch erfrischen und vielleicht und vielleicht ein Buch über den brandneuen Pier lesen. Die Temperatur des Sees ist immer angenehm (auch im Winter fällt sie nicht unter 8 Grad) und reicht im Sommer bis über 22 Grad! Die Rettungsschwimmer schreiben jeden Tag (während der Zeit der sicheren Strände) die Wassertemperatur an den Seiten ihres Aussichtspunktes, so dass es für euch einfach ist, die Wassertemperatur im Voraus zu “überprüfen”, um ein angenehmes Bad zu organisieren. Ein schönes Bad im See ist im Sommer immer eine gute Idee. Schwimmbegeisterte werden kristallklares Wasser entdecken, wo sie wie im Meer schwimmen können. Es ist jedoch gut, sich daran zu erinnern, dass der Gardasee je nach Tageszeit wegen der Winde mehr oder weniger intensive Wellenbewegungen hat und im Sommer unter vielen Badegästen und vielen Booten, es ist zu eurer Sicherheit angemessen, in der Nähe des Ufers zu schwimmen und, wenn ihr euch entfernt , die Boje mitzunehmen. 

STRÄNDE FÜR ALLE

Sowohl Erwachsene als auch Kinder können in Ruhe baden: In den Sommermonaten gibt es an den Stränden von Riva del Garda und Torbole einen Überwachungs- und Rettungsdienst an Land und im Wasser. Außerdem ist der Boden des Gardasees im Gegensatz zu dem, was man denkt, auch für Kinder geeignet, da er sehr sicher ist: Die Tiefe wird nämlich Schritt für Schritt sanft erreicht, nicht abrupt. 

Und für Behinderte gibt es am Strand von Sabbioni in Riva del Garda viele Services: Von den brandneuen Rollstühlen, die den Zugang zum Wasser ermöglichen, bis zu speziellen Sonnenliegen, die sicherstellen, dass auch Menschen mit Behinderungen das Strandleben genießen können. SPAZIERGÄNGE UND APERITIFS MIT SEEBLICK 

Mit dem Fahrrad, zu Fuß, mit Kindern im Kinderwagen oder mit eurem treuen vierbeinigen Begleiter könnt ihr die Seepromenade von Torbole nach Riva del Garda oder den Radweg nach Arco wählen und unterwegs eine Pause auf einer Bank einlegen, vielleicht ein Foto bei Sonnenuntergang machen.

“Beach life.” Even the thought of living it brings joy, well-being, joy! 

Sunbathing comfortably lying down, reading a good book perhaps under the umbrella caressed by the Òra (the wind of Lake Garda), practicing activities for real sports like windsurfing or less demanding as sup. Whatever your favourite occupation, the beach life in summer (but also in spring in places like Garda Trentino) is synonymous with happiness!

Paraphrasing an old Italian song, beach life is often linked to the sea. Anyway, what will amaze you about Lake Garda is its extreme resemblance to the latter (it is the largest lake in Italy) but with peculiarities all of its own that make it unique. Starting from the frame: a Mediterranean landscape in an alpine context, with mountains but scents of lemon and Mediterranean scrub. 

This uniqueness is not the only characteristic of this fairy-tale place. Another is the variety of its beaches. 

THE BEACHES OF LAKE GARDA

Lake Garda boasts enchanting and kilometric free beaches, with many services. 

The beaches of Riva del Garda, Torbole sul Garda, Arco and also those of the emerald Lake Tenno (a few kilometers from Riva) are perfect for sunbathing, relaxing in the shade (there are beautiful trees and various refreshment points where you can enjoy cocktails on the beach) and do sports. Thanks to the availability of showers, toilets, deckchairs and sunbeds, you can enjoy a whole day on the beach without needing anything else. 

In the water you can cool off and maybe read a book on the new pier. The temperatures of the lake are always pleasant (never fall below 8 degrees even in winter) reaching in summer reach over 22 degrees! Every day, the lifeguards every day – during the period of presence of “spiagge sicure” – write the temperature of the water on the sides of their lookout post so it will be easy for you to “check” in advance the temperature of the water in view of a nice bath. A nice swim in the lake is always a good idea in summer. Swimming enthusiasts will discover crystal-clear waters where they can swim just like the sea. It is good to remember, however, that Lake Garda lives depending on the time of day more or less intense movements (due to the winds) and, in summer, between many bathers and many boats, it is appropriate for your safety, swim along the shore and, if you go away, take with you the buoy signs float. 

BEACHES FOR ALL

Both adults and children can bathe in peace: during the summer months, in fact, on the beaches of Riva del Garda and Torbole there is a surveillance and rescue service on land and in the water. Moreover, contrary to what you might think, the bottom of Lake Garda is also perfect for children as it is very safe: the depth in fact is reached step by step gently, without sudden “dives” (it is just the case to say) in the void. 

And for the disabled, there are many services available at the Sabbioni beach in Riva del Garda: from the brand-new wheelchairs that allow you to enter the water, to specific sunbeds to ensure that even those with reduced mobility can enjoy the beach life. 

WALKS AND APERITIFS WITH LAKE VIEW 

By bike, on foot, with children in a stroller or with your beloved and faithful dog you can take the lakeside promenade from Torbole to Riva del Garda, or the bike path to Arco, and stop on a bench along the way, perhaps taking a picture at sunset.

“Vita da spiaggia”. Già solo il pensiero di viverla mette allegria, benessere, gioia! 

Prendere la tintarella comodamente sdraiati, leggere un buon libro magari sotto l’ombrellone accarezzati dall’Òra (il vento del Garda, n.d.r.), praticare attività per veri sportivi come il windsurf o meno impegnative come il sup. Qualunque sia la vostra occupazione preferita, la vita da spiaggia in estate (ma anche in primavera in località come il Garda Trentino) è sinonimo di felicità! 

“PER QUEST’ANNO NON CAMBIARE, STESSA SPIAGGIA STESSO… LAGO!”

Parafrasando una vecchia canzone, la vita da spiaggia è spesso legata al mare. Ma quello che vi stupirà del Lago di Garda è la sua estrema somiglianza a quest’ultimo (è il lago più grande d’Italia) ma con peculiarità tutte sue che lo rendono unico. A partire dalla cornice: un paesaggio mediterraneo in un contesto alpino, con montagne ma profumi di limone e macchia mediterranea. 

Questa unicità non è però la sola caratteristica di questo luogo fiabesco. Un’altra è la varietà delle sue spiagge. 

LE SPIAGGE DEL LAGO DI GARDA TRENTINO

Il Garda Trentino vanta incantevoli e chilometriche spiagge libere, con tanti servizi. 

Le spiagge di Riva del Garda, Torbole sul Garda, Arco e anche quelle dello smeraldo Lago di Tenno (a pochi chilometri da Riva) sono perfette per la tintarella, per rilassarsi all’ombra (ci sono splendidi alberi e vari punti di ristoro dove godersi aperitivi in spiaggia) e fare sport. Grazie alla disponibilità di docce, servizi igienici, noleggio sdraio e lettini, vi potrete godere un’intera giornata in spiaggia senza aver bisogno di null’altro. 

In acqua potrete rinfrescarvi e magari rilassarvi e leggere un buon libro sul nuovissimo pontile. Le temperature del lago sono sempre piacevoli (non scendono mai sotto gli 8 gradi anche in inverno) arrivando in piena estate a raggiungere gli oltre 22 gradi! I bagnini ogni giorno (nel periodo di presenza delle spiagge sicure) scrivono la temperatura dell’acqua sui lati della propria postazione di vedetta quindi sarà facile per voi “verificare” preventivamente la temperatura dell’acqua in vista di un bel bagnetto. Una bella nuotata nel lago è sempre una buona idea in estate. Gli appassionati di nuoto, scopriranno acque cristalline e trasparenti dove nuotare come al mare. E’ bene però ricordarsi che il Lago di Garda vive a seconda del momento della giornata movimenti ondosi più o meno intensi (a causa dei venti) e, in estate, fra tanti bagnanti e le molte imbarcazioni, è opportuno per la propria sicurezza, nuotare costeggiando la riva e, se ci si allontana, portare con sé la boa segnaletica galleggiante.

SPIAGGE PER TUTTI

Grandi e piccini possono fare il bagno dunque in tutta tranquillità: nei mesi estivi infatti sulle spiagge di Riva del Garda e Torbole è presente il servizio di sorveglianza e soccorso a terra e in acqua. Inoltre, diversamente da quanto si possa pensare, il fondale del Garda è anche perfetto per i più piccoli in quanto molto sicuro: la profondità infatti si raggiunge passo dopo passo dolcemente, senza improvvisi “tuffi” (è proprio il caso di dirlo) nel vuoto. 

E per i diversamente abili, molti sono i servizi a disposizione alla spiaggia Sabbioni di Riva del Garda: dalle nuovissime sedie a rotelle che consentono di entrare in acqua, a lettini prendisole specifici per far sì che anche chi ha una ridotta mobilità possa godersi la vita da spiaggia. 

PASSEGGIATE E APERITIVI VISTA LAGO 

In bicicletta, a piedi, con bimbi al seguito nel passeggino oppure con l’amato e fedele compagno a quattrozampe potrete percorrere la passeggiata lungolago da Torbole a Riva del Garda, o la ciclabile fino ad Arco, e sostare su una panchina lungo il percorso, scattando magari una foto al tramonto. 

Mangiare un buon gelato artigianale oppure sorseggiare uno spritz mentre il cielo si colora di sfumature arancio con la suggestiva luce del crepuscolo renderà ancor più magica la fine di una lunga giornata di spiaggia sul Lago di Garda. Che Beach emotions!
